Google Gadget update and great new articles on Atom
Just a quick note on a couple of great articles published recently in the Intel Software Network.
First, an update to the Google Gadget, one of the most popular downloads from ISN. The Google Desktop Gadget now provides information on the total percent memory used on both the main UI as well as the slide out bar of the Gadget. The Gadget Detail Page also provides additional information about the gadget being monitored, including a dynamic view of the monitored items in the HTML page.
In conjunction with the Google Gadget update, there is a new white paper titled Keeping Memory In Mind, that offers some insight into whether concerns over memory usage are still important now that prices are so low and device capacity to high.
We also have the first in a series of articles up on the Developer’s Guide to Atom, discussing some of the technical and use case considerations when developing for these highly mobile, Atom based platforms. We would love your feedback as we complete the series.
If you just read our blogs, you may be interested in the full list of articles with the tag “Atom”, which of course comes with a handy RSS feed.
Hope these help!
